Music & coffee blend at Café Gukuru no Mori

Cafe Gukuru no Mori may be small in size, but music is big here.

It’s not your run of the mill cup of coffee, but then again, where else can you bring your own music to listen to while sipping the beverage and enjoying crystal musical clarity on a state-of-the-art sound system?

Hiroshi China, the owner of China Audio, is the soul behind Gukuru no Mori Cafe’s superior sound system.

Café Gukuru no Mori, located in Kitanakagusuku Village is offering something unique next Wednesday, an evening of music and coffee.  Admission’s free but at least one drink at a cost of ¥500 must be purchased.  Patrons can bring their own music CD’s to “enjoy realistic sound while drinking coffee”.  For each drink purchased, you can listen to two music pieces of your choice from your CD’s between 5:30 p.m. ~ 8:30 p.m.

What’s unique is that the equipment in this café is a sound system of “China Audio”, which is very famous not only in Okinawa, but all over Japan. Not only the sound quality, but the design of the equipment of “China Audio” is wonderful and a lot of equipment is used for the fashionable cafes in Tokyo.

“China Audio” has its main store in Kumoji, Naha City, and many visitors are dropping by from the outside of the prefecture. Although the prices are by no means cheap, the China Audio quality is infallible.

This cafe is also aimed at promoting health through local culture.  Café Gukuru no Mori is regularly featuring lectures and other activities to teach patrols the art of making drinks such as healthy smoothies..
