Our call for sponsors and support was answered by the Johnson Controls Inc. Japan under their Blue Sky Involve Program. Employees selected NPO Okinawa O.C.E.A.N. for a $1,000 grant to support a cleanup project along with volunteers.  Thank you! Check out this great program on-line. It’s worldwide.

The SOO Project (Save Our Ocean) donated ¥65,000 for June. They are a regular supporter. The SOO Project Cleanup information can be seen in the BEO Free Magazines at FamilyMart convenience stores. Sales of the SOO Project ¥300 yen wrist band donates most of the cost to the cleanup effort.  Thank you SOO much!  Buy one now!

The Black Onyx Pacesetters Sports Bike Motorcycle Club has pledged their riders for a beach cleanup. This nonprofit with a mission to ride towards a positive future, started in February this year. Their first community related event was a cleanup at Araha Beach in Chatan Town.

Another group led by Mr. E. Brown from Kadena Airbase, planned a cleanup around the Kadena Marina.  Thank you all for your efforts.
