Kokusai Street Don Quijote is open

The newest discount store in Okinawa of the Don Quijote chain opened its doors Thursday in the OPA Building on Naha’s Kokusai Street.

To mark the opening of their newest store Don Quijote entered into a contract with the Okinawa Urban Monorail Co. to hand out free monorail passes to customers who purchase goods totaling ¥3,150 or more at the new store. The pass allows a free round-trip ride on the monorail from Kokusai Street, Kencho-mae, Miebashi or Makishi stations to any station on the line. The offer is valid on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese national holidays stating today.

As an extra opening celebration, the purchase amount is reduced to ¥2,100 until the end of the year.

To take advantage of the offer, a customer needs to ask monorail station staff for a certificate when exiting the station. That can then be exchanged for a new monorail ticket at the register at Don Quijote when paying for purchases.
