Mihama Sbarro offering mouth-watering holiday deals

All Sbarro’s pizzas are made fresh daily and nothing is brought in frozen and heated up.

The Italian fast-food restaurant Sbarro, which opened its first Okinawa branch six months ago, is getting into the holiday spirit with a series of deals to put a smile on customers’ faces.

Sbarro is located in the same building as Mihama ferris wheel.

Sbarro, located on the second floor of Carnival Park Mihama, touts its “Quick, fresh and authentic food”, including New York-style pizzas made fresh daily at each restaurant from an original recipe past down from generation to generation. The popular chain was founded in 1967 in New York, and now operates with more than 1,000 locations in 45 countries.

Also intensely popular are Chicago-style deep dish pizzas, thick crust pizzas, freshly cooked pasta dishes with a choice of sauce and toppings, strombolini and a variety of entrees, including New York-style meatballs, and salads. In addition, there are limited-edition items to be enjoyed exclusively at the Okinawan branch.

The drinks menu features a large selection of beers and non-alcoholic beverages, and Sbarro has added free refills on soft drinks, tea and coffee for all DoD ID card holders. Daily Sbarro specials include the Happy Hour Special, including two slices of pizza (one New York-style and one thick crust pizza), a half-size deli (chicken/meatball/Caesar salad) and a regular drink, for ¥1,000 between 4 p.m. ~ 7 p.m., or a Buy any one pizza slice and receive one New York-style pizza slice of your choice for free between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Sbarro’s using this holiday season to introduce new menu items and seasonal campaigns, offering special promotions.
