OIST offers programs for every interest

OIST is looking forward to a busy summer schedule.

As Okinawa heads toward summer, the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology is rolling out a series of special events to lure visitors to its campus.

Julio Goya’s World at OIST is under way until June 30th, drawing interest in large metalwork art from 9 a.m. ~ 5 p.m. daily.  Admission is free. The public exhibition is sponsored by Naoko Kiyan and the Division of Communications and Public Relations.

“Sketches of Science” is an exhibition featuring more than 50 photographic portraits of Nobel Laureates.  German photographer Volker Steger is the man behind the camera, and his portraits are complemented with interviews, videos and digital presentations of the Nobel Laureates and their discoveries through July 6th.  Admission is free for the exhibition on the OIST campus.
