Marisa Trio performs Gospel Live in Garaman Hall

A trio consisting of singer Marisa with her powerful voice, the gentle, soft guitar of Takuma Asada, and bassist Yoshiki Takahashi, a well-known support player for many popular Japanese musicians, will play Gospel music at a live concert at Garaman Hall in Ginoza Culture Center this Saturday.

Marisa was born to a Brazilian singer father and a Japanese mother who was a dancer. Marisa also danced for more than 20 years until she suffered a serious injury in a traffic accident. Now she performs as a gospel singer with various gospel groups and serves as the head of the Shalom Gospel Ministry and Gospel Branch.

The venue of the Saturday’s concert, the Garaman Hall second floor lobby at Ginoza Culture Center opens its doors at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are ¥1,000 in advance including one drink for the first 60 tickets, or ¥1,300 at door. Advance ticket reservations are accepted by phone at 098-983-2613 before midnight on Friday.
