Antique Dollhouse Exhibition shows works of five artists

The dollhouses are complete down to amazing detail including interiors and even merchandise in a store.

A total of 80 dollhouses created by five artists from various parts of Japan are gathered for display in Tomiton.

Kurumi Bakery is only waiting for customers.

The collection consists of various types of works like European style houses and Okinawan old houses that attract people.  Dollhouse artists often make not only buildings but elaborate miniature furniture and sundries.  Specially, foreign valuable antique dollhouses are also displayed, not just for dollhouse fans but for anyone excited by being part of a little dream world.

The Dollhouse Exhibition runs through January 18th at Tomiton Toyosaki Life Style Center.  The exhibition opens daily at 10 a.m. and runs to 6 p.m., with last entry at 5:30 p.m.  Adult tickets are ¥800, while tickets for elementary and junior high school students are ¥400.  Entry is free for pre-school age children.  Tickets are on sale at Ryukyu Shimpo, Co-op Apre, Family Mart e-plus, Lawson L Code: 81810, and at Ryubo Department Store.
