Evening dinner cruise shows Naha from new perspective

The holiday season is the time for entertaining new experiences, and one often overlooked is a relaxing dinner cruise in the harbor areas of Naha City.

Moby Dick can carry over 300 guests per trip to enjoy sunset, view of Naha by night and a gourmet dinner.

Island Life Concierge oversees twice daily dinner cruises aboard the 300+ passenger Moby Dick, which sails from Naha Wharf in downtown Naha.  Reservations are now being taken for the romantic Christmas Dinner Cruise by email: Islandlifeconcierge098@gmail.com, or by telephone at (098) 916-8593 in Japanese, or 090-1946-7593 in English.

The restaurant is on the second deck.

The cruise’s assembly point is Naha Wharf at 4:30 p.m. for the sunset cruise, and 7:15 p.m. for the night cruise.  Each cruise is 1 hour 45 minutes round-trip, providing guests an opportunity to see Okinawa’s capital city from a different perspective.  There’s the excitement of sailing, and then there’s the food!

Executive Chef Chiba is the man behind the gourmet offerings aboard the Moby Dick.  After returning from seven years of training at Michelin-starred restaurants in France, he worked for Hotel de Mikuni and several other premier French restaurants around Tokyo before moving to Okinawa in 2010.  Under his eyes, a variety of French dinner courses are served in the second deck restaurant accompanied by live entertainment. During the months May through September, there’s also a BBQ dinner on the open third deck.
