Ginoza Children’s Day brings educational experiences

Children learning how to make one’s own beach sandals.

The 3rd Ginoza Experience Festival links Children’s Day on Tuesday with a variety of experience-based booths and sea activities for families.

A giant maze is one of the attractions in Ginoza Children’s Day event.

There are 11 classes this time, including a making original beach sandals booth, sea kayaking and horseback riding experience.   The prices vary according to what you try.

The festival takes place at the Ginoza Dome, 181 Ginoza, Ginoza Village, from 9 a.m. ~ 4 p.m.  Reservations are not accepted for the events and activities.  Participants simply sign in at the door.

A dozen activities will be available, including the Bouncy Castle ¥300 per 15 minutes, Giant Maze ¥300, Animal Train ¥300, Big Inflatable Pool ¥300 per ten minutes, Skill Throwing Game ¥100, Horseback Riding ¥500 per ten

To balance all that education, a jumper is a good place for children to shed off excess energy.

minutes ride, Banana Boat Ride ¥1,000 per ten-minute ride, Kayaking ¥2,000 for kids over ten, and ¥1,000 for children 2-9, for one-hour ride. Kayaking is offered at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.

A free cave tour taking 60-80 minutes is being offered at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. A free extinguishing experience lasting one hour will be offered at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.

A Beach Sandal Making one-hour class is to be offered for ¥1,000 at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.  A Rubber Band Accessory making half-hour class is offered for ¥400.
