No less than three separate food festivals this weekend are organized this weekend at different locations on the island. In Naha, there’s Naha Meshi Festival, Okinawa City has its A Lunch Contest, and on Sunset Beach in Chatan, organizers of the 2nd Okinawa Corporate Games will have a concurrent “Food Festival on Sunset Beach” on Saturday and Sunday.

The food festival features yakitori, fried chicken, spare ribs, hot dogs, curry, chicken jerky, Okinawa soba, kebabs, pizza, burgers, sausages, and clam chowder among other perennial favorites. Beverages include beer, soft drinks, Turkish drinks, and smoothies just to name a few. A wine tasting and sale is also on the program.

The festival runs from11:00 to 20:00 on Saturday and 11:00 to 21:00 on Sunday at the Sunset Beach in Mihama. Admission to the festival is free. The area also has plenty of free parking available near by.
