Failed robbery attempt at Ginowan gas station
A man entered a gas station in Ginowan about 3 a.m. Sunday morning and pointed a knife at the lone male attendant demanding money.
According to the attendant, the man entered the gas station asking to use the bathroom, and then came around grabbing the attendant from behind at knifepoint demanding the attendant take him to the self-service cash registers outside, and ordered him to take the money out.
Police describes the robber as of average height and slender built, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black knit cap, and white flu mask. He carried a black bag in his hand.
However, the attendant did not know how to open the cash registers at the pumps, and the would-be robber lost nerve and ran away. Ginowan Police are now searching for him.
