Christmas lights tuned on at Urasoe Kyouzuka Yuimaru Center
The 13th Christmas Illumination lights on Kyouzuka Yuimaru Center Street in Urasoe have been turned on. The lighting ceremony was held on Dec. 9th with local children singing and dancing.
The Christmas illumination is held under slogan “Dream and pleasure for local children.” Local residents’ association formed the executive committee of the event that is planned to continue for two weeks.
At the lighting ceremony, Sakae Teruya, the director of the association, said, “An increasing number of visitors are coming to see our Christmas illumination, and they come not only from the local area, but also from many other places. We appreciate all of your support and cooperation during the duration of this event.”
The Christmas lights are on from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
