Wakatake Kids Park is sometimes called the “Turtle Park” because of the many giant turtle statues that exist there. The abundance of water is what separates itself from other parks; you can find a shallow fish pond and small water streams that flow through the area. During summer, children play in water to relax themselves from the heat.

Playground equipment is also on location for pre-school children to elementary school students, as well as a field for outdoor activities. Benches are also available for parents who just wish to watch their children partake in all the fun.
