Iso Park is located in the Iso District in Urasoe City, and it’s near the Urasoe Dai Kouen (Big Park). Iso Park is unique in that it is a place for fun, but it also has historical significance.

There are many playground equipment on location, like a wooden jungle gym, a long slide, swings, and a sand box. For its historical side, the park grounds is part of the Iso Castle ruins.

Many believe that castle belonged to the father of King Eiso, who was one of the kings in the old Ryukyu Kingdom during the 13th Century. The view from the castle ruin is great and one can see a panoramic view of Urasoe City, Ginowan City, Chatan, and Yomitan Village.
