Japan’s pre-summer celebration will ignite with the 16th Annual Ryukyu Kaiensai Fireworks Festival 2019.
This will be one of Okinawa’s most spectacular entertainment extravaganzas of the year, fusing Japanese fireworks ingenuity and the sensation of Okinawan culture in one exciting venue.

All are welcome to the celebration. With the summer just right around the corner, Okinawans and visitors alike will enjoy the fanfare just in time as the beaches again reopen to the public. You don’t want to miss it! The Star Mine – a starlight spectacular performance – comes to life using state of the art computer ignition controls, synchronizing fireworks and musical composition with 1/30 of a second precision. Every note will literally come with a bang!

The best summer days in all of Japan start with Okinawa and there is no better way to kick it off than to celebrate it with one of Japan’s largest fireworks spectacles. We like to invite you to this momentous occasion.
